What's an IP PoE Camera?
1. IP(Internet Protocol)- Sends video digitally over a network
2. PoE(Power over Ethernet)- Delivers both data and power through a single
Ethernet cable connected to a PoE NVR or PoE switch. By eliminating the need
for separate power outlets, it simplifies installation and significantly reduces wiring clutter.
How it works?
Capturing: The camera captures high-definition digital video.
Transmission:
Using a single Ethernet cable, it connects directly to a PoE NVR (or a standard
NVR paired with a PoE switch) to transmit both power and data.
Storage: The
NVR or dedicated client software securely stores and manages the recorded
footage.
Access: You
can access and view live or recorded footage anytime via a mobile app or PC web
browser.
Line Crossing Detection (Triple)
Line Crossing Detection allows you to draw a virtual line across a specific area in the camera's field of view. you can program the camera to send a notification whenever any object moves past that line.
Perimeter Protection (Intrusion Detection)
The perimeter protection based on tripwire and area intrusion sends an alarm when unwanted movements triggered by human or vehicle occur, avoiding unnecessary false alarm. An alert is triggered based on specific behavioral rules within that zone:
1. Enter Region: An object moves from outside the zone to inside.
2. Leave Region: An object moves from inside the zone to outside.
3. Loitering/Intrusion: An object enters a designated area and remains there for a user-defined time.
The IP camera is equipped with AI algorithms that automatically identify humans and vehicles in the monitoring area, effectively filtering out irrelevant movements. This reduces false alarms and ensures accurate and reliable security surveillance.
Face detection on an IP camera is a feature that lets the camera recognize that a human face is present in the video.
What's the difference between the face detection and the face recognition?
Face detection: Recognizing that a face in the frame.
Face recogintion: identifying who that face belongs to by matching it against a database.
